The Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi works on realizing its strategic goals by utilizing key drivers. Those drivers rely on the role of the Department’s offices and centers by implementing the projects, programs and initiatives that aim to achieve sustainable economic development. Ultimately, this would help reinforce the Department’s strategic partnership with the local and federal government entities, as well as the private sector.
Our Affiliates
His Excellency is the Chairman of the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi heads a number of government entities that are concerned with supporting and empowering the private sector. The goal is to support the Department’s efforts in this regard and achieve its strategic goal to reinforce the economic activity in the Emirate, and create one that is based on the principles of transparency, expertise exchange and knowledge. It also aims to enhance the competitiveness of the business sector in the Emirate, both regionally and internationally.
